1. Discovery

This is where we take a deep dive into your company, the brief and the objectives. Animation is only as powerful as the purpose behind it. Once we have a full understanding of your business objectives and creative ideas we can move onto making an effective and powerful script.

2. Script

Here our talented writers will bring everything together into a cohesive, engaging, and persuasive script ready for production. We utilise our understanding of your business, its goals, and the video's audience to create a goal-driven script and ultimately animation. We're happy to write the script from scratch or work with you on an existing one.

3. Storyboard

The next stage is for our artists to bring the script to life scene by scene. This is where the creativity flows and everyone involved can get inspired. It's the perfect stage to make any amends and ensure the goals of the brief are being sufficiently met. We can then further bring the storyboard to life with an animatic, which is basically an animated storyboard.

4. Production

Now we leave it to the animation wizards to work their magic and create your unique masterpiece.

Planning is without question one of the most important parts of animation. Putting in the work early on and being prepared means a smooth production, and a beautiful end product. Due to the nature of animation amends down the line have massive budget and time implication and are to be avoided at all costs. Don’t worry as this is precisely why our process goes through discovery, scripting, and storyboarding, making sure you’ve signed off at every stage. 

Less is more

Animation delivers best when it’s succinct and to the point. This is for two reasons. One, it’s been proven over and over we don’t have long attention spans and your audience will quickly click off if you drag out the animation. Two, every second counts in animation and the longer the animation, the more it will cost.

The important of sound

Sound design and audio are the unsung heroes of animation. They (not so) silently work in the background to delight and engage your audience. If you are changing scenes quickly add a whooshing noise, it will lure in the audience to believe the production and engage with it more. A powerful, believable voice-over can turn a seemingly dull animation into a work of art. We work with a ton of amazing voice-over artists who can articulate your message perfectly.
